Julian Liu

Julian advises clients on a wide range of estate planning matters, including wills, enduring powers of attorney, testamentary trusts, Self-Managed Superfunds (SMSF) and business succession. He takes a strategic and tailored approach, integrating asset protection and tax considerations to achieve the best outcomes for his clients, particularly high-net-worth individuals and those with complex asset structures.

Julian applies for grants of probate and letters of administration and regularly advises executors, administrators (including court-appointed independent administrators), and beneficiaries on all aspects of the administration of estates, including contested, bankrupt and cross-border estates. Julian also has experience in estate disputes and family provision claims.

Julian’s experience extends to trust law, where he advises on the administration of family trusts, unit trusts, testamentary trusts and SMSF. He also assists clients in commercial matters including business acquisitions, compulsory acquisitions, and bankruptcy proceedings.
